Carbon Peeling: The Hollywood Peel for Radiant Skin

Carbon peeling (Hollywood Peel) is a laser peeling procedure in which a thin layer of liquid carbon is applied to the skin and then vaporised by an Nd:YAG laser. The carbon acts as a photosensitiser: it penetrates into the pores, absorbs the laser energy intensely and is vaporised along with sebum, blackheads and superficial skin cells. The result: visibly refined pores, cleaner skin and a radiant complexion — immediately after just one session.

How Carbon Peeling Works

  1. Liquid carbon mask applied to the face and left to dry (5–10 minutes)
  2. Carbon penetrates the pores and binds to sebum and dirt particles
  3. Nd:YAG laser (1064 nm) vaporises the carbon layer
  4. Absorbed laser energy heats the pore walls, stimulating collagen production
  5. Simultaneous antibacterial effect against acne bacteria (P. acnes)
