Non-Surgical Nose Job: Nose Reshaping without Surgery

Non-surgical rhinoplasty (liquid nose job) uses injectable fillers — most commonly hyaluronic acid — to alter the shape of the nose without surgery. By strategically placing filler, a skilled practitioner can camouflage bumps, lift the tip, improve symmetry and refine the nasal profile.

What Can Be Corrected

  • Dorsal hump: filler above and below the bump creates the illusion of a straight bridge
  • Tip drooping: filler at the columella or supratip lifts the nasal tip
  • Asymmetry: targeted filler placement to balance the nose
  • Flat or wide bridge: filler on the dorsum adds height and definition

What Cannot Be Corrected

  • Reduction of overall nose size
  • Functional issues (deviated septum, breathing problems)
  • Significant structural deformity

Procedure

Topical anaesthetic cream is applied 20–30 minutes before. A thin needle or blunt cannula is used to inject hyaluronic acid at precise anatomical points. The procedure takes 15–30 minutes. Results are immediately visible.

Duration and Reversibility

Results last 9–18 months depending on filler product used. Fully reversible with hyaluronidase enzyme injection.

Risks

The nose is one of the highest-risk areas for filler injection due to the dense vascular network. Vascular occlusion (blocking a blood vessel) can lead to skin necrosis or, in rare cases, blindness. Only experienced physicians should perform nasal filler injections. Immediate dissolving capability (hyaluronidase) must be available.
